The Flip Side

You get there by realizing you are already there. ~ Eckhart Tolle

Well, here we are. I hope you are feeling as refreshed and Alive as I am. Our winter solstice is among us and the winds of change are weaving through. I know for some people, this date has left a feeling of fear in the back of our minds. Which I believe was the intentions from the beginning. Sadly, this world is mislead by thoughts and ideas of a government controlled media. Planting those seeds of fear in any and all ways possible to the closed mind. It is only what we have been taught through our entire human existence, therefore it is challenging and unnerving to open up to the idea that there is more to life than what meets the eye or ear.

I recently came across an article titled - Epic Challenge: 30 Days of Fear. For 30 days, we are challenged to do one of the following each day: Something that we have never done before. Something that has been on the back burner for however long.. that we say we'll do tomorrow but tomorrow still hasn't come. Something we want to do but fear the outcome, or the process along the way.  Now you may think to yourself that it is not always this simple, but in fact, it really is. The reason we feel it is such a challenge is because we are so used to the regular routine that we have trained our minds and bodies to follow. Once we RE-train ourselves with this attack of dedication and determination, we will without a doubt not be able to stop! So, I challenge YOU, to follow through, and wake up each day feeling excited about the things you will accomplish.

Before finding this challenge, I had already made a pact with myself along similar lines. I no longer wish to sit and dwell about the things I want or need to do. Instead, I tell myself to just DO IT. Don't give yourself the time to think about factors that may come in contact with whatever it is that needs to be done.. just do it. I have opened my mind to a whole new way of thinking in this past month and with that feeling of "letting go" and "opening up" some amazing realizations have entered my life. Some recent experiences are unexplainable but have been the most real and enlightening experiences I have ever had in my human existence. Thus, in this time, I have been able to look at the things I am involved with and determine what importance they have in my life and whether or not I need to focus more or focus less on them. This is a very important factor in life, which I did not realize until I realized...!

My intentions of this blog are not to dictate or lecture to anyone about what is right or wrong, but rather, share my insights on what I have learned and am continuing to learn along my human journey. I do not follow any belief system other than my own, and it is still in the making. I encourage everyone to have an open mind and not "sell out" or cut yourself short by tuning in to one specific belief system. There is SO much information out there, Good, Bad and most importantly, UNKNOWN. One thing I am sure of without any doubt, is that I am here, in the now and I am capable of anything I put my mind to - never underestimate the power of your mind. It is the key to everything. It is your choice what you wish to put into your sacred mind so chose with a heart full of happiness.

To wrap this post up, as I had written in my departure note from Instagram, it is my belief that today embarks the beginning of a time where we as a majority will start to open our eyes and minds to the simplistic nature of our being. Where we can learn and grow into our awakenings and enlightenment's to better ourselves as an individual, therefore bettering ourselves as a human race. Let this be the end of ignorance, selfishness and hatred. If the "higher power" won't educate us in a manner of healthy survival, then WE need to take action for ourselves.. and stop feeding into all these outlets and sources that have no positive effect on us. Let us all Morph into this next phase of existence and embrace the beautiful things this world has to offer.

Forever Grateful,
Amanda
